Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 14 – Cambodian foreign minister Prak Sokhonn touched on Cambodia’s key priorities and deliverables for ASEAN Community building process, next year and immediate attention on engendering a peaceful process to resolve Myanmar crisis, which should be Myanmar-owned and Myanmar-led, according to the outcomes seen by Fresh News on Tuesday.

The minister attended via video conference the meeting between the ASEAN Foreign Ministers and G7 Foreign and Development Ministers, convened in Liverpool, the United Kingdom, held on 12 December 2021.

“He strongly asserted that Cambodia stands by unity for cooperation and not unity for confrontation while urging the need to work in concert to promote trust and confidence and to joint hands in addressing various common security challenges so that all states, small or large, can co-exist with healthy competition.”
