Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 7 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen hoped that the Chinese government will continue to donate more COVID19 vaccines to Cambodia, speaking in an inauguration ceremony of Cambodia-China Friendship Hospital in Tbong Khmum province on Monday.

"We hope that China will donate more COVID19 vaccines, while vaccines of some development partners will arrive this March," the premier underlined.

Vaccine against COVID19 drives Cambodia’s key economy as it allows the kingdom to fully reopen her socio-economic activities.

To date, Cambodia has so far vaccinated more than 91 percent of the total population. More than 7 million people have received third dose and more than 1 million received the fourth shot.
