Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 28 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that Cambodia has prepared a national budget of approximately 120 billion Riels ( approximately USD 30 million) to host the 32nd SEA Games in 2023.

The premier spoke in a meeting with Cambodian athletes, held on Thursday (28 Apr) at Koh Pich, Phnom Penh.

In the past, Cambodia was unable to organize the SEA Games due to lack of funds. Fortunately, with the help from China to build the Morodok Techo National Stadium and the national savings, Cambodia is able host the SEA Games in 2023.

"Although our goal is to get more medals, our athletes must not violate the law and the rules of games as well as using any illegal supplements, which can badly affect the kingdom’s dignity,” the premier added.
