Phnom Penh (FN), May 12 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that non-political discrimination and no racism have contributed to Cambodia’s successful COVID19 vaccination campaign.

The premier spoke during a meeting with more than 2,000 Cambodians living in the United States and Canada on Thursday (May 12).

"The vaccination campaign in Cambodia is considered to be most successful. There is no political discrimination, racism, nor religious segregation. In Cambodia, people receive equal opportunities to be vaccinated,” the premier underlined.

Cambodia has so far vaccinated nearly 93 percent of the total population. Nearly 9 million people have received third dose and more than 2 million received the fourth shot.
