Phnom Penh (FN), May 21 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen and a high delegation departed Phnom Penh at 1:30 a.m on 21 May 2022 to attend the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting 2022 on 22-26 May 2022 in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland.

Premier Hun Sen is accompanied by minister of Public Works and Transport Sun Chanthol, minister of Commerce Pan Sorasak, and other senior government officials as well as members of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce.

During the Forum, Samdech will deliver substantive remarks at the Closing Ceremony of the Discussion with Stakeholder under the theme “Strategic Outlook on ASEAN” and at the Informal Gathering of World Economic Leaders’ Lunch- Restoring Peace and Order, according to the press release.

On the sidelines of the Forum, Samdech is also expected to have meetings with leaders of some countries as well as receive courtesy calls from world political and business figures.

During his stay in Switzerland, premier Hun Sen will deliver an opening speech at the CAMBODIA NIGHT, an event sponsored by WorldBridge Group to promote foreign businesses in Cambodia. He will also have a meeting with Cambodian compatriots living in Switzerland and other European Countries.
