Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 29 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen urged all relevant authorities and stakeholders to jointly fight against illegal activities to prevent Cambodia from becoming a safe haven for money laundering, human trafficking and other crimes.

The premier spoke at the 6th National Interfaith Forum Against Human Trafficking on Thursday morning (Sep 29).

"We shall jointly fight against the illegal activities, so Cambodia will not become the heaven of crime, money laundering and human trafficking," the premier underscored.

The premier also urged the monks of Buddhism, as well as other religions, to spread dharma teaching and good education to the people to avoid illegal activities, such as corruption, drug or gambling.

Samdech Hun Sen believed that religious education and other form of education can prevent the aforementioned illegal activities and create harmony and wealth for people of all walks of lives.
