Siem Reap (FN), Oct. 1 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that the Royal Government is requesting the registration of Koh Ker temple in Preah Vihear province into the World Heritage Site, and other temples are being considered for registration.

The premier spoke during a meeting with residents who voluntarily relocated from the Angkor area, held on Saturday morning (Oct 1) in Siem Reap province.

The premier called on Cambodian people jointly preserve the ancient temples and other cultural assets for the sake of the people and the nation as a whole.

Samdech continued, in order to be enlisted, the assets must meet the requirements set by the UNESCO and the World Heritage Committee.
