Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 7 – Thai minister of higher education, science, research and innovation Anek Laothamatas seeks to deepen cooperation with Cambodia on science, technology and health education.
The minister spoke in a courtesy call on Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen, held on Friday morning (Oct 7) at the Peace Palace.
Anek Laothamatas announced to offer scholarships to Cambodian students on graduate and postgraduate programs in field of science and technology and health education at prominent Thai universities.
For his part, premier Hun Sen thanked the Thai minister for offering scholarships. He advised the leaders and officials of relevant ministries to do site visit in Thailand at the invitation of minister Anek Laothamatas to explore and enhance cooperation between both countries.
