Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 23 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen outlined a plan to provide free vocational and technical training programs for approximately 1.5 million young people in poor and vulnerable families, and allowances will be provided.


The program is expected to be launched in late 2023 or early 2024, the premier spoke at a graduation ceremony for Nearly 7,000 students on Monday (Jan 23) at OCIC, Phnom Penh.

Samdech continued, training these people could allow them to acquire skills for the future.

Cambodia has a lot of potential youth, but their capacity is still limited, so premier Hun Sen asked the Economic Policy Committee to address this issue.
