Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 23 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen instructed ministries, institutions, authorities and competent forces to work together to maintain security, order and safety as the kingdom hosts the 32nd SEA Games and the 12th ASEAN Para Games.
The premier spoke at the annual meeting of the Ministry of Interior on Thursday afternoon (Feb. 23) at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel.
“For the SEA Games and the ASEAN Para Games, the ministries, institutions, authorities and competent forces must work together to ensure security, order and safety during the organization of these events, and that includes the safety for players and participants, both inside and outside the country,” the premier underlined.
At the same time, Samdech also advised the capital-provincial administration to promote better traffic order and hygiene.
The 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia will take place from 5-17 May 2023. The 12th ASEAN Para Games in Cambodia will begin from 3-9 June 2023.
