Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 7 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen announced that two Cambodian female ministers, namely Phoeurng Sackona and Ing Kantha Phavy, will remain in their position as minister for the new mandate.

The premier spoke when he presided over the celebration of the 112th Anniversary of International Women's Day on Tuesday (Mar 7) at the Peace Palace.

"We are preparing for the election and the new government to be formed in September (2023). I can say that the two female ministers in the Ministry of Women's Affairs and the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts will remain in the same position," the premier underscored.

Phoeurng Sackona has become minister of culture and fine arts since 2013, while Ing Kantha Phavy minister of women’s affairs since 2004.
