Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 7 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen decided to transfer 15 million doses of China-aided COVID19 vaccines, which has yet delivered to the kingdom, back to China in order to distribute to other countries in dire needs.

The premier spoke at an annual closing meeting of Ministry of Health on Tuesday (Mar 7) at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel.

"This morning, I approved the request of Cambodian health minister Mam Bunheng regarding the transfer of 15 million doses of COVID19 vaccines back to China. Nowadays, we have six million doses of COVID19 vaccines in stock," the premier underscored.

Samdech thanked all countries for offering medical, medical equipment, and financial assistances to Cambodia to fight against COVID19. Samdech hoped that the vaccines transferred to China will be distributed by the Chinese government to the demanding countries.
