Pursat (FN), Mar. 14 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen announced that even though the electricity price in neighboring countries has risen, Cambodia will ensure stable electricity price to assist the citizens during the difficult time amidst global inflation and Russian-Ukraine wars.
The premier spoke during inspection of construction progress of Stung Pursat 1 Hydropower Plant, held on Tuesday morning (Mar 14) in Pursat province.
"Every country increases the electricity price, but Cambodia does not increase. In the past, our neighbors' electricity prices were cheaper than us. Now, our neighbors are starting to increase the price. However, we have to help the citizens," the premier underscored.
