Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 24 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen unveiled the plan to recruit agricultural officials to work in communes/districts nationwide as soon as possible after the 7th National Assembly election.

The premier spoke at the closing of an annual meeting of the Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries, held on Friday (Mar 24) at the ministry.

It is necessary to set a plan to recruit and send agricultural officials to communes/districts nationwide as soon as possible after the 7th National Assembly election. This is a Cambodian People's Party (CPP) policy to assist people in the agriculture sector," the premier underscored.

Samdech added that agricultural officials will become local focal points to solve challenges on a timely manner for farmers.
