Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 29 – Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) released a press release on the resolution on listing eligibility review application of CAMGSM PLC. known as Cellcard owned by tycoon Kith Meng.

"CSX is honored to notify the public that this CSX granted its approval in principle on equity securities listing eligibility review to CAMGSM PLC. on 29 March 2023," according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Wednesday (Mar 29).

"In oder to be officially listed and have its securities traded on the CSX, CAMGSM PLC. shall get approval on public offering from the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) and meet further listing requirement of the CSX," the letter continued.

CAMGSM PLC is the second company that has received approval in principle on listing eligibility review from the CSX in this early 2023. In addition, the company is the ninth company that is going to be listed on the main board of the CSX.

CAMGSM PLC, known as Cellcard, was incorporated in 1996 which is one among leading telecommunication operators in Cambodia providing services including installation and operation of all equipment and machinery that used in connection with the operation of the GSM mobile phone network. In addition, the company also has 52 retail outlets, 2,900 dealers and around 3,000 cell sites nationwide across Cambodia.
