Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 6 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen, in his capacity as the honorary president of the Cambodia Oknha Association (COA), urged tycoons to strengthen solidarity to contribute to development of society, nation building, and be active in philanthropy.

The premier spoke in a courtesy call by COA board of directors and members, held on Thursday morning (Apr 6) at the Peace Palace.

Taking this opportunity, the COA president Ly Yong Phat briefed the premier on the objective, vision, and mission of the association.

On that occasion, the premier welcomed the initiative to establish the COA and shared some recommendations.

On behalf of the board of directors and members, Ly Yong Phat expressed his deep gratitude to Samdech for agreeing to be the honorary president of the COA. This noble gesture indicated the support and promotion of the association in order to contribute to the Royal Government, to the development of society and the economy.

Lastly, Ly Yong Phat thanked Samdech for spending his valuable time meeting with the delegation.

The Cambodian Okha Association (COA) has been established and recognized by Cambodian Ministry of Interior on 25 October 2023. The association is led by 32 board members with a 5-year-mandate.
