Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 7 – This World Health Day, Friday 7 April 2023, the Royal Government of Cambodia, and the World Health Organization (WHO), celebrate the country's many health successes since the founding of WHO in 1948. It is also the day the world will mark the beginning of a year-long campaign to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of WHO, with the theme 'Health for All'.

"The Royal Government of Cambodia, under the wise, proactive, long term vision leadership of Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen, has reached great achievements in all sectors, particularly maintained peace, political stability, social safety and security, managed COVID19, sustained economic growth, stabilization of people's lives, promoting Cambodia's prestige in regional and international communities through independent foreign policy under rule of law, congratulates WHO on the 75th anniversary of its founding,” according to a joint press release seen by Fresh News on Friday.
