Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 20 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen underlined that although Cambodia is not an oil-producing country, the Royal Government has been able to stabilize gasoline price.

The premier spoke at an inauguration of the Maternity Building of the National Children Hospital, held on Thursday morning (Apr 20) at the hospital.

"Currently, our kingdom has more than one million cars and more than five million motorbikes, and that consume plenty of gasoline. Although we are not an oil-producing country, we have been able to control the price,” the premier underscored.

On that occasion, the premier also mentioned the fluctuation of global oil price, which has slightly increased the retail price of gasoline in Cambodia during the Khmer New Year celebration.
