Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 25 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that collecting money from the SEA Games delegation will not make Cambodia rich, speaking at a graduation ceremony at National Institute of Education on Tuesday (Apr 25).

Premier Hun Sen added, "By not collecting the money, we give many people the opportunity to come to visit Cambodia, and later I believe that some ASEAN member countries will implement such initiative for the kingdom in return."

At the same time, Samdech reiterated that as a host, Cambodia will offer free entry for both national and international spectators, free accommodation and food for delegates, and free broadcasting right for media partners.

As of today, it is only 10 days left until the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia, which will take place from 5-17 May 2023. The 12th ASEAN Para Games in Cambodia will begin from 3-9 June 2023.
