Phnom Penh (FN), May 23 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen told foreign dignitaries attending today’s ceremony to look at Cambodia’s achievements as the kingdom has strived to build itself from scratch after the fall of the Khmer Rouge regime in 1979.

The premier spoke on Tuesday (May 23) at an inauguration ceremony of “Techo Aphivadh” Building, the Calmette Hospital’s Polytechnic Centre in Phnom Penh.

“I would like to thank all the ambassadors and foreign representatives who came today to see the achievements of Cambodia,” the premier underlined.

Samdech rebuilt Cambodia from a time when only 70 people living in Phnom Penh and in 2004, Phnom Penh had the tallest building with only seven floors, the premier added.
