Phnom Penh (FN), May 30 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen announced to build a dormitory for students and recruit 28 teachers and contract officials to serve at Preah Sihamoni Raja Buddhist University.
The premier spoke during an inauguration ceremony of a new building of Preah Sihamoni Raja Buddhist University, held on Tuesday (May 30) in Phnom Penh.
"We should not hesitate when it comes to spending on education and people’s well beings. These are the desire for our nation's prosperity," the premier added.
The premier advised Phnom Penh governor Khuong Sreng to be in charge of road building in the university in order to enhance the beauty of the university and provide convenience for students.
On that occasion, Samdech also agreed to recruit 28 teachers and contract officials of the university into the government.
