Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 29 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet said that implementing any policies will not be effective without a monitoring mechanism since new problems always occur and must be addressed during the implementation.

The premier spoke during his meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Phnom Penh's Por Senchey district on Tuesday morning (Aug. 29).

"I believed everything must be guaranteed through an effective monitoring mechanism; otherwise, we will not achieve," Manet underscored.

"We have a monitoring mechanism for implementing the Pentagonal Strategy by the Office of the Council of Ministers. Moreover, we also have a policy framework by the policy committee, which has a mechanism to monitor the implementation of the action plans," Manet added.
