Kampong Speu (FN), Sep. 9 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet reaffirmed his firm stance in the fight against narcotics that is a major challenge for the region and the globe.

The premier spoke on Saturday (Sep. 9) during a meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Kampong Speu province.

"I will appoint a deputy prime minister as the head of the authority [National Authority for Combating Drugs]. There will be three deputy prime ministers, including national defense, interior, and justice, and joined by relevant ministers as members," Manet underscored.
