Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 15 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet is set to lead a high-level delegation to the General Debate of the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York to be held from 19 to 26 September 2023. This year’s central theme is “Rebuilding Trust and Reigniting Global Solidarity: Accelerating Action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals Towards Peace, Prosperity, Progress and Sustainability for all”.

"Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet’s address to the UNGA will center on three key dimensions: the global context, Cambodia’s socio-economic progress, and Cambodia’s commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Transformative Actions. Additionally, the Prime Minister will engage in bilateral meetings with the United Nations Secretary-General and various foreign dignitaries during his stay in New York," according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Friday (Sep. 15).
