New York (FN), Sep. 25 – David Soth, a young Cambodian male working in Billboard advertising agency in the US, underscored that the billboards in New York featuring Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet was free of charge and made with love and support to welcome Manet’s working trip to the United States.

David Soth said “having Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet displaying on the billboards was his idea and he had lobbied his boss to feature premier Hun Manet for free of charge. He wanted to show his support for the leadership of the Royal Government of Cambodia.”

David Soth’s statement was made in response to the extremist group which claimed that the display of premier Hun Manet on billboards was paid with high cost up to million dollars.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet led a high-level delegation to the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on 21 September 2023. Before returning to Cambodia, Samdech Thipadei also met with about 2,000 Cambodians living in the US and Canada. Samdech Thipadei and the delegation safely arrived in Cambodia on 25 September 2023.
