Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 17 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet underlined that, even though the 2023 SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games have concluded, their significance lingers in the hearts of Cambodian citizens.

The premier spoke during the celebration party of the 2023 SEA Games-ASEAN Para Games, held on Friday (Nov. 17) at the Morodok Techo National Stadium, Phnom Penh.

"The SEA Games and the ASEAN Para Games, hosted by Cambodia, stand as great historical milestones the nation has waited for 64 years. Despite concluding in June 2023, the impacts, achievements, national pride, and prestige stemming from these events seem to linger in the hearts of Cambodian citizens," the premier underlined.

The hosting of the 32nd SEA Games and the 12th ASEAN Para Games represents a precious and invaluable chapter in Cambodia’s history. Cambodia's positive transformation, exemplified by its hosting of the games, has garnered global attention, showcasing the enduring peace led by the Cambodian People's Party (CPP).
