Melbourne (FN), Mar. 4 – Aegros and Freshstart Logistics, a subsidiary of Fresh Start Australia Pty Ltd, expressed their intention to invest in the healthcare sector in Cambodia.

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet received a courtesy call by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Fresh Start Australia Pty Ltd Daniel Phillips on Monday (Mar. 4) in Melbourne, Australia.

During the meeting, CEO Daniel Phillips expressed gratitude to Samdech Thipadei for taking the time to allow him and his delegation to pay a courtesy call and discuss work. He also briefed Samdech Thipadei that Freshstart Logistics operates in various countries in Asia and around the world, specializing in logistics, supply chain, and warehousing services. Aegros, a subsidiary of Freshstart, focuses on healthcare.

Daniel Phillips conveyed the company's intention to seek investment opportunities in Cambodia across multiple sectors, including logistics, energy, and healthcare.

For his part, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet warmly welcomed the working meeting with Daniel Phillips. The premier briefed Daniel Phillips on the introduction of policies and regulations supporting the investment climate in Cambodia.

Samdech Thipadei also stated that Cambodia is a country with potential and opportunities for investment, encouraging companies to explore Cambodia further to expand investments across various sectors.

Regarding the health sector, Prime Minister Hun Manet underscored that the Royal Government of Cambodia has promoted the implementation of key measures in the health sector to enhance the health and well-being of the people by strengthening the capacity to deliver health services at the local level.

In addition, Samdech Thipadei also underlined that the Royal Government has issued regulations and measures to combat counterfeit medicines and health products. He encouraged the company to discuss with its partners in Cambodia regarding its intention to invest in the health sector and collaborate with relevant ministries and institutions of the Royal Government of Cambodia, particularly the Ministry of Health.
