Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 7 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet encouraged to increase the numbers of next-generation professionals to enhance their opportunities for active engagement in training, research, compilation, and promotion of national culture, particularly art and traditional clothing.

The premier addressed the 26th Cambodian National Culture Day, held on Thursday (Mar. 7) at Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Centre.

"I would like to encourage an increase in the number of young professionals to have greater opportunities to participate in training, research, compilation, and promotion of national culture, particularly in the field of art and traditional clothing," the premier underscored.

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei added that currently, citizens, especially young citizens, are very keen and proud to wear traditional clothes. However, there is still ambiguity, confusion, and misuse regarding the understanding of the form and style of use.
