Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 11 – Cambodian Prime Minister highlighted and recalled the Royal Government's major achievements in promoting digitalisation, addressing the opening of Digital Government Forum and Digital Technology Expo on Monday (Mar. 11).

Samdech Thipadei underscored, "I would like to take this opportunity to highlight and recall the Royal Government's major achievements in promoting digitalisation. The Royal Government has launched several projects including the Financial Management Information System Project (FMIS), one-stop system, e-tax and custom system, Non-Tax Revenue Management Information System (NRMIS), business registration and licensing systems, digital and electronic education systems, identification management systems, and land and vehicle management systems.”

The premier added that the Cambodia Data Exchange (CAMDX), a key nursery that has been used by public and private institutions to share and exchange data in the common ecosystem, won international awards in the Future of Government Awards 2022. This marked another pride of the Royal Government for its efforts in digitalisation in the government sector.

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei continued that the Royal Government’s document verification platform, verify.gov.kh, which recently won the gold medal at the ASEAN Digital Awards 2024, will also play a key role in offering various public services for the benefits of Cambodian citizens
