Vientiane (FN), Mar. 25 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and his Laotian Counterpart Sonexay Siphandone presided over the signing ceremony of seven Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) on border affairs and energy.

The signing ceremony was held on Monday (Mar. 25) in Vientiane, Lao PDR.

The seven MoUs are as follows:

1. Exchange of instruments of ratification of the State Boundary Treaty between Cambodia and Lao PDR.

2. Minutes meeting on the exchange of instruments of ratification of the State Boundary Treaty between Cambodia and Lao PDR.

3. Agreement between the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Government of Laos on New Energy Cooperation.

4. MoU between the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Cambodia and PHONGSUBTHAVY GROUP SOLE CO., LTD on the purchase of green energy from "XEKHAMAN II Hydro and Wind Power Hybrid Projects" in Laos to Cambodia.

5. MoU between the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Cambodia and XAYSANA Group, WIS, and SISAN INTERNATIONAL JOINT DEVELOPMENT SOLE., LTD on the purchase of “Nam Emoun 1, 2 Hydro, Pump Storage and Wind Power Hybrid Projects” in Laos to Cambodia.

6. MoU between the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Cambodia and EDL on the purchase of green energy from the “Green Energy Supply of 1000 MW Combination of Hydro, Wind and Geothermal Projects” in Laos to Cambodia.

7. MoU between the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Cambodia and PSG CORPORATION PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED on purchasing green energy from the “Xekong Pump Storage Power Project” in Laos to Cambodia.
