Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 4 – Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida congratulated Samdech Techo Hun Sen on his recent appointment as President of the Senate of the 5th legislature.

Over the years, Cambodia and Japan have cultivated a steadfast friendship, marked by unwavering collaboration in pursuit of peace, reconstruction, and development in Cambodia," according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Thursday (Apr. 4).

"I am delighted to witness the steady growth of bilateral cooperation under the comprehensive strategic partnership that Samdech Techo and I forged. Our collaboration extends beyond the economy, encompassing emerging sectors such as digital security and information technology.
