Singapore (FN), Jun. 19 – Cambodia Prime Minister Hun Manet warmly welcomed all Singaporean investors to explore the abundant opportunities in Cambodia’s dynamic and burgeoning market.

The premier spoke on Wednesday (Jun. 19) during the Cambodia-Singapore Business Forum.

Welcoming Singaporean investors, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet affirmed that in the first few months of his term as the prime minister of the Seventh Legislature, he led the 19th Government-Private Sector Forum to address the challenges and concerns faced by business entities and investors in their business operations in Cambodia.

At the same time, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet added that many clear-cut measures were laid down to further strengthen trade facilitation and alleviate almost all burdens levied on the private sector in key priority sectors such as tourism, agriculture, agro-industry, transportation, infrastructure, construction, real estate, banking, and others.

There are immense opportunities for value-added growth in areas such as Fintech, innovation, digital technologies, green economy, and agro- industries," Prime Minister Hun Manet underscored.

Samdech Thipadei further underlined that the strong Cambodia-Singapore partnership— built upon a foundation laid by Cambodia’s late King Father Norodom Sihanouk and Singapore’s first Prime Minister, Lee Kuan Yew—has grown stronger over time.
