Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 26 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet instructed provincial governors to allocate lands for the construction of the Cambodian Veterans Association headquarters in provinces. He urged local philanthropists to continue supporting the Veterans Association.

The premier spoke on Wednesday (Jun. 26) on the occasion of the celebration of the 17th Cambodian Veterans Day.

Kun Kim, Vice President and Secretary General of the Cambodian Veterans Association, reported ongoing assistance and construction of association headquarters in various provinces including Battambang, Banteay Meanchey, Kampong Cham, Kampong Chhnang, Preah Vihear, Siem Reap, Tbong Khmum, Kampong Thom, Svay Rieng, Kampong Speu, and Kampot. However, 12 other provinces still require land for office construction and support.
