Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 28 – President of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), Samdech Techo Hun Sen called on party officials to serve the citizens sincerely, speaking on Friday (Jun. 28) on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), held at the CPP headquarters.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen also announced a strict stance against the inactivity of officials who violate party principles and state laws, which affects the rights and interests of the people.

"At this point, I affirm to this assembly, all members of the CPP, both domestically and abroad, and to the citizens, that the Cambodian people need the leadership of CPP and support the CPP. However, what concerns people are the misconduct of certain party officials. I urge all party members to act with utmost sincerity in serving the people. We are here to serve the citizens," Samdech Techo underscored.

On this occasion, Samdech Techo Hun Sen highlighted that the CPP represents the genuine interests of the people, providing unwavering support in all situations, and has led the nation through its most challenging moments, achieving significant victories that underpin national stability and development.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen regarded the people as the decisive factor in the party's victories, both during the national liberation struggle and throughout its governance. He added that without the people's support, participation, and belief in the party's leadership, no task can be successfully accomplished.

Furthermore, as the party's president, Samdech Techo instructed all party organizations at every level to engage closely with the people, attentively address their needs and challenges, and encourage their active participation in the party's political initiatives. He underscored the importance of political correctness—both strategically and tactically—which has guided the CPP towards sustained success.
