Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 2 – Cambodia earned more than USD 24 million from Angkor Archaeological Park, Koh Ker temple and Chong Khneas tourism port ticket sales in the first six months of 2024, according to a press release seen by Fresh News on Tuesday (Jul. 2).

In the first six months of 2024, the Angkor Archaeological Park and Koh Ker temple received 521,950 foreign tourists, an increase of 35.30 per cent and earned USD 24,357,695, an increase of 36.24 per cent compared to the same period in 2023.

The Royal Government donated USD 1,043,900 to Kantha Bopha Hospital to help save the lives of Cambodian children.

It should be noted that in 2023, over 790,000 foreign tourists bought tickets to visit Angkor Archaeological Park, earning USD 37,198,988, an increase of 222.68 per cent.
