Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 4 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet stated that the teaching profession is not measured by wealth but by the success of students in their studies and careers, speaking on Thursday (Jul. 4) during a graduation ceremony at Phnom Penh Teacher Education College.

"Good doctors are not evaluated based on the size of their hospitals or the amount of equipment they have, but by the number of patients who recover. Similarly, a teacher's achievements are not measured by their wealth but by their students' success. If students pass their exams with high scores and achieve great things in their careers, that reflects the true achievements of their teachers," Samdech Thipadei underscored.

On that occasion, Samdech Thipadei underlined that those who choose the teaching profession demonstrate exceptional dedication, adding that such commitment is crucial and a source of national pride. He added that in order to improve the living standards of teachers, it is necessary not only to increase their salaries but also to reduce their expenses.
