Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 8 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet stated that the success of the first Cambodia-France Business Forum laid the groundwork for Cambodia to host the second Cambodia-France Business Forum.

The premier spoke on Monday morning (Jul. 8) during the opening of the 2nd Cambodia-France Business Forum at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra.

"This is a great opportunity to strengthen our friendship and explore the significant potential for economic partnership between the two nations. The first Cambodia-France Business Forum commenced in Paris during my official visit to French last January, setting the stage for today's second Business Forum," Samdech Thipadei underscored.

Prime Minister Hun Manet also expressed gratitude and praised the collaborative efforts of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Cambodia, the French Foreign Trade Advisors in Cambodia, and the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce in co-organizing this prestigious event.

On the occasion, the premier expressed strong optimism that Cambodia and France will continue to hold business forums to strengthen ties within the business community and create mutually beneficial opportunities for future generations. He also believes that French entrepreneurs will discover a wide array of business and investment opportunities in Cambodia.
