Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 9 – At the invitation of Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni, To Lam, President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, will pay a state visit to Cambodia from 12 to 13 July 2024.

“During the visit, His Majesty the King and Her Majesty Norodom Monineath Sihanouk, the Queen-Mother, are scheduled to graciously grant the President audiences at the Royal Palace,” according to a press release seen by Fresh News on Tuesday (Jul. 9).

President To Lam is scheduled to meet with Cambodian President of Senate Hun Sen, President of the National Assembly Khuon Sudary, and Prime Minister Hun Manet.

“The meetings are expected to cover cooperation under bilateral and multilateral frameworks based on the spirit of good neighbourliness, traditional friendship, and comprehensive cooperation for the mutual benefit of the two peoples.

The President of Viet Nam is scheduled to lay wreaths at the Independence Monument, the Royal Memorial Statue of the late King-Father Norodom Sihanouk, and the Cambodia-Viet Nam Friendship Monument.

He is also scheduled to receive a courtesy call from Chairwoman of Cambodia-Viet Nam Friendship Assocation Men Sam An.”
