Khmer Enterprise Partners with MAKRO Cambodia to Promote Local Products

Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 19 – Khmer Enterprise is pleased to announce the new partnership with MAKRO Cambodia to support local products through Local Love Fair.

Building on the success of previous years, the Local Love Fair is dedicated to showcasing various local products while promoting local businesses. Aligned with safety standards, the local products ranging from groceries to everyday essentials, fresh vegetables and fruits, diaries, rice, and souvenirs will be displayed for 2 weeks from July 16-31, 2024 in MAKRO Sen Sok, Siem Reap and Chroy Changva. With the support from Khmer Enterprise, customers can anticipate an even wider selection of locally sourced products and a chance to win the prize.

Chhieng Vanmunin, Delegate to the Royal Government in charge as CEO of Khmer Enterprise states that this new partnership with MAKRO Cambodia is yet another important stepping stone toward a wider customer base for local products. This partnership contributes to the Royal Government of Cambodia's mandate to support the local products and SMEs through expanding home-grown brands and international markets. Khmer Enterprise is proud to play a catalytic force behind this important initiative.

Anatta Thalangdee, Managing Director of  MAKRO Cambodia said We are committed to fostering strong relationships with local suppliers to support our community and enhance suppliers efficiency. We aim to prioritize local sourcing together with developing their productivity while maintaining high standards of quality both product and packaging, reliability, and sustainable supply chain. We develop 54 suppliers for fresh food and 15 suppliers for dry food all over 17 provinces in Cambodia.
