Hanoi (FN), Jul. 26 – Cambodian Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen held a working meeting with Tran Thanh Man, Vietnamese Chairman of the National Assembly, on Friday (Jul. 26) in Hanoi, Viet Nam.

During the meeting, both sides commended the cooperation between the two countries' legislatures. They highly valued the inter-institutional collaboration, the exchange of experiences in law-making, and cooperation within the specialized frameworks of the various committees of the National Assembly and the Senate of both nations and the General Secretariat.

The two leaders also supported each other for the fruitful results achieved through high-level cooperation between the two parties, their legislatures, and in parliamentary diplomacy and multilateral forums.

Each side extended invitations for official visits. The Vietnamese side invited Samdech Techo to pay an official visit to Viet Nam in the near future in his capacity as Senate President, marking a historic moment in the cooperation of the top leadership of the legislature.

Both sides reaffirmed the value of cooperation between Cambodia and Viet Nam, emphasizing the commitment of both parties, peoples, and states to a future of peaceful and prosperous borders.

Cambodia and Vie Nam pledged to continue their cooperation and to implement existing agreements more effectively, serving the best interests of both countries and their people.
