Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 6 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet highlighted that in modern era, the development of a country or the relationships of individuals cannot exist in isolation; everyone is interconnected and engages in mutual growth and self-interest.

The premier spoke on Tuesday (Aug. 6) during a graduation ceremony for University of Puthisastra students at OCIC, Phnom Penh.

Samdech Thipadei added, "No leader of any country has ever claimed to work against the benefit of their nation or friends. All leaders work for the benefit of their own nation, and in Cambodia's case, some benefits can be mutual and lead to collective growth."

The premier's remarks addressed the concerns of the people about the Cambodia-Laos-Viet Nam Development Triangle Area (CLV-DTA).

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei noted that although four Cambodian provinces are included in this cooperation, the 25-year development in these provinces has been funded by Cambodia's national budget. The Royal Government has the authority to develop this area, and Cambodia will increase the capacity and capability of communes, districts, and provinces to build and strengthen its foundation.
