Vientiane (FN), Oct. 11 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet received a courtesy call by the Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Klaus Schwab on 10 October 2024 in Vientiane, Laos.

Klaus Schwab thanked Samdech Thipadei for granting him and his delegation the opportunity to meet and discuss their work. He also expressed his gratitude to Samdech Thipadei for attending the WEF meeting in Davos, Switzerland, earlier in 2024.

Taking this opportunity, the executive chairman extended an invitation to Samdech Thipadei to participate in the upcoming annual meeting, scheduled for early 2025. He further briefed Samdech Thipadei on the potential of the WEF as a platform to foster public-private partnerships.

For his part, Samdech Thipadei expressed his pleasure in meeting Klaus Schwab again and congratulated him on the success of previous WEF annual meetings. He also thanked the executive chairman for the invitation to attend the WEF annual meeting next year.
