Kampong Cham (FN), Oct. 26 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet called on people to jointly maintain peace, stability, and social order as they are essential for facilitating and improving livelihoods as well as attracting investment.
The premier spoke on Saturday morning (Oct 26) during a ceremony to celebrate the achievements of the China-Aid Project of Improving School Environment and Educational Facilities in Cambodia (CPISEEF), held at Samdech Hun Sen Peam Chi Kang High School in Kang Meas District, Kampong Cham Province.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet underlined that the most important factor is the participation of the people, highlighting several key points as follows:
1. The contribution to maintaining our stability and peace is significant. I would like to express my gratitude to people in Kang Meas for their participation in this effort.
2. Our goal is to maintain stability and social security. I also want to thank local authorities and our security forces for their efforts in preventing negative incidents. This work is ongoing; we must remain vigilant, as there are always challenges. It is essential that we stand together, and I appreciate the support of our people.
3. Participation to support livelihood development is vital for the development of our nation. The Royal Government has implemented various policies to facilitate improvements in living standards and attract investment. While we can provide support, the involvement of the people is key. The government’s efforts to enhance the development of workers, employees, civil servants, and veterans aim to facilitate livelihoods, but success depends on the people seizing the opportunities created by peace, stability, and security. Together, we must strive to learn and build our capacities to advance the country. I would like to extend my thanks to the people nationwide, including those in Kang Meas, and encourage continued participation in these efforts.
