Yunnan (FN), Nov. 7 – China's Guoxing Group Companies unveiled plans to expand its investment in industrial parks and factories.
Tycoon Li Guolian, Chairman of Guoxing Group Companies, paid a courtesy call on Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet on 6 November 2024 in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China.
During the meeting, Li Guolian briefed Samdech Thipadei on the company’s previous investments in Cambodia and outlined plans to expand its investments over the next five years, focusing on establishing industrial parks. In addition, Guoxing Group will explore opportunities in agriculture, particularly in organic fertilizer production to improve soil quality and boost agricultural productivity.
Li also mentioned that, under Guoxing Group’s coordination, numerous Chinese companies have conducted four business visits to Cambodia to assess the potential and investment opportunities, with a strong commitment to investing in industrial parks and establishing factories.
For his part, Premier Hun Manet expressed his appreciation for companies investing in Cambodia and those planning to expand their presence. Samdech Thipadei highlighted the Royal Government of Cambodia’s policies that offer incentives and support for successful investments. He also noted that Guoxing Group’s production chains initiatives in Cambodia could reduce the need to import raw materials from abroad.
On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei reiterated the Royal Government’s support for companies investing in domestic production chains for both domestic supply and export.
