Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 8 – Cambodia's National Assembly approved the withdrawal of the Agreement on Trade Promotion and Facilitation for Cambodia-Laos-Viet Nam Development Triangle Area (CLV-DTA) on Friday (Nov. 8).

This decision was made during the weekly plenary session of the National Assembly, chaired by Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly, with the participation of 109 members.

The resumption of the third session of the National Assembly of the 7th legislature on Friday (Nov. 8) included the following agenda items:

1. Decision on the validity of Yous Tha Neary’s mandate as a Member of Parliament for Kampong Thom Province, replacing the late Chea Chanto.

2. Discussion and approval of the draft law regarding the withdrawal of the Agreement on the Trade Promotion and Facilitation for Cambodia-Laos-Viet Nam Development Triangle Area (CLV-DTA).
