Sao Paulo (FN), Nov. 11 – Lim Chea Vutha, Founder and CEO of Fresh News, and Kin Phea, a representative of the Royal Academy of Cambodia, participated in the inaugural Global South Media and Think Tank Forum held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from 11 to 12 November 2024.

Organized by the state-run Xinhua News Agency, the forum brought together around 350 representatives of 170 media organizations, think tanks, governments, and enterprises from over 70 countries and regions.

The event’s opening ceremony was presided over by Fu Hua, Chairman of Xinhua News Agency. Hu Heping, Executive Vice Chairman of the CPC Central Committee's Publicity Department, chaired the forum.

At the forum, participants have engaged in dialogue and exchange, aimed at fostering cooperation and shaping a shared future. Together, we endeavor to build a robust platform for cultural exchange and collaboration within the media and think tank sectors of the Global South.
