Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 24 – Cambodian Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen highlighted that Cambodia is currently experiencing its longest period of peace—nearly 27 years—marking the most prolonged era of stability in the nation’s history over the past 500 years.
Samdech Techo underlined that the success of the win-win policy had brought Cambodia complete peace.
Samdech Techo underscored, "Cambodia has always had at least two conflicting territories at the same time, but the win-win policy has given Cambodia 27 years of national peace—the longest period of peace in its last 500 years."
Samdech Techo continued, "For Cambodia, peace must be safeguarded above all else, because without peace, the country cannot achieve anything. We have suffered enough, and Cambodia does not need any more war."
