Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 24 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet affirmed that the implementation of a win-win policy will not only end decades of war, but also laid the foundation for national reconciliation and enduring stability.

The premier spoke on Sunday (Nov. 24) during the opening of the 11th Plenary Session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel.

"The implementation of the win-win policy not only ended decades of war but also laid the foundation for lasting national and economic reconciliation. This achievement was realised through pragmatic measures, beginning with dialogue, reconciliation, and fostering inclusivity," the premier underscored.

Samdech Thipadei highlighted that peace is the cornerstone of all progress, stating: "Without peace, there is no development, no progress, and no future. Without peace, there are no human rights or sustainable development."

On the occasion, the premier also reflected on Cambodia’s unique experience in achieving peace, attributing it to the visionary and sustained implementation of the win-win policy under the leadership of Samdech Techo Hun Sen.

Samdech Thipadei urged all nations and institutions to join forces in a shared commitment to building a safer and more prosperous world for future generations.
