Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 2 – Cambodian President of the Senate, Samdech Techo Hun Sen thanked Pakistani Chairman of the Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani for his congratulatory letter on the occasion of the 71st Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

"I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation for your congratulatory letter dated 30 October 2024 on the occasion of the 71st Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Kingdom of Cambodia," according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Monday (Dec. 2).

"I share your sentiments about the perseverance and sacrifice through which our countries achieved independence and sovereignty.

I am delighted that the relationship and cooperation between Cambodia and Pakistan have been substantially strengthened and deepened. I stand ready to work closely and explore new opportunities with Your Excellency and the Senate of Pakistan to continuously advance our cooperation and partnership for the mutual benefit of our two countries and peoples."
