Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 4 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet hosted a reception at the Peace Palace on Wednesday (Dec. 4) to welcome the official visit of Laotian Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone and his spouse to Cambodia.

After the reception, the Cambodian and Lao prime ministers also held a bilateral meeting to have an in-depth discussion on further fostering warm relations and expanding beneficial cooperation between the two countries in line with good neighbourliness, traditional friendship, and a comprehensive and long-lasting strategic partnership.

The two prime ministers will also exchange their views on regional and international issues of common interest. The two leaders will also preside over the signing of some cooperative documents.

At the invitation of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, Laotian Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone and his spouse Madam Vandala Siphadone are paying an official visit to Cambodia from 4-5 December 2024.
